Crash Team Racing problems

Hi I am having problems with crash team racing in epsxe, it seems the game loads up to the menu's but when i actaully try to enter the actual game it will flick out giving the message:
Opcode 27 UNK <PC 000ac40c> <3454,37>

and it does it with all settings i've tried

my system specs are:
Pentium 4 2Ghz
512mb DDR
GeForce 2 Ti 200
SB Live!
Windows XP Home Edition

plugins using:
Petes OpenGL Driver 1.60
ePSXe SPU core 1.5.0.
Petes CDR ASPI/LOCTL Driver 1.10

is there anything i need to change or do to fix this if there is could you tell me please thanks.
