Question Super PSJoy

Hi.

I'm hoping I can rely on the group's expertise and experience in solving a small problem.

I just recently bought a Super PSJoy USB adapter (there's a review at gear.ign.com/articles/357/357179p1.html). However, the thing didn't come with any drivers. Now while WinXP actually installed a driver (and it does work), I'd like to be able to use the ones I'm supposed to be using, since those drivers are supposed to support the analog buttons on a PS2 controller.

I have contacted the company I bought the adapter from and am waiting for a response. But if anyone here knows where I can get these drivers from, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Volt

WinXP (and 2000) doesn't need drivers for most USB game adapters as long as they are HID-compliant.

If yours works then it is, there won't be any other drivers.

Well, yes it does work, but the default XP driver for it doesn't support the analog buttons, which is why I would like to get whatever drivers should be with this thing.

Hmm, just read the review on that link and apparently there should have been a floppy disk containing the drivers...

A Google search for "super psjoy" turns up this link (click) which has a download of the latest drivers at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the link, but I already checked out that site before I posted here. I know that most of these adapters are similar, but that is not the piece of equipment I own. And those drivers do NOT support the analog buttons.

My reply seems to have gone missing. Oh well...

I guess PSJoy is kind of a generic name

Unless your supplier gets back to you, your only hope is to find someone else that owns the same product. Try the hardware forum.
