sdk.h for the fpse layer
SDL.org for a good media library
the Pete's site for the PsemuPro SDK or maybe pcsx.net for sourece samples, not sure if the pad layer update is present on Pete's site^^

It is still a good emu worth writing an fpse layer for in your plug-in.

dead links & closed sites everywhere, it's not easy to find that stuff... should I look for "epsxe plugin sdk" or is epsxe using the plugins from an other emulation?

In Windows, the plugin specs are based on the old PSEmuPro model. Don't know what are the basis for linux plugins.

darktears.psxfanatics.com

here I'll put the sdk.h and the linuxdef.h and something else

you can find them on the peops plugin sources

I suggest you to get the pcsx sources from pcsx.net
if you plan to make a psemupro plugin, since pcsx has some advanced features in the PAD layer (and in the CD layer too)

fpse linux isn't death since I still have to release my port (and I'm trying to get a number of plugin before releasing it)

if you want contact me you can find me on #psxfanatics on Efnet or #fpse #linux and #bluetears on irc.bluetears.org most time

I have many years of experience, althought not in this area. Things look good, my first alpha version seems to work... Now comes the hardest part: the configuration dialogue.

kano, that would not be a port but a very new plugin... Windows has a very different driver model than Linux, the win32api has very little in common with GTK+ etc.
