How do you tell VGS to use your second CD-ROM...?

Yep, unlike ePSXe, VGS can only read from the first CDROM, whether it's a CDROM or a Virtual disc. I think.

If you want, try changing the drive letter of the cd-rom drive

try using daemon tools, this is a virtual cd creator. after installing it, change the virtual rom drive to the next drive letter, coz daemon tools automatically changes ur current rom drive to a virtual one. u can do this thru system settings->cdrom drive->drive letter. also remember, dont load the virtual as well as the real rom drive at the same time, otherwise vgs will not load properly.

VGS can read from any one of your CD/DVD-ROM drives. It'll scan the CD drives in alphabetic order (and automatically try to load existing CDs, even if it's not a psx CD) so make sure there's nothing in your first drive if you're going to be using the second drive.

k, thx...Was trying Daemon tools for the first time, and it came up as the second CD-ROM...until the reboot. Also, it seemed it wouldn't read the second CD until that time neways, but it works fine now. Thanks guys!

But when I put a PS cd into my CD-RW, it always ejects........I can use my DVD-ROM, but it skips....ISO takes too much space(I use Plextor 161040A, and it's the 2nd CD-Rom)

Some brands are too finicky with the types of CDs that they can read... I have an old Lite-On that ABSOLUTELY refuses to read Video CDs.
