BTW I also had this idea once but I couldn't wait for any emus.

I think I already mentioned somewhere (but probably not here) that you need a 2GHz to 3GHz CPU to emulate the EmotionEngine alone (that already include dynamic recompilation for speed up), so the 733MHz of the Xbox surely are too slow.
Also it would be very hard to fit 32MB DRAM and 4MB VRAM of the PS2, the emulator code, and a buffer for the recompiled game code into the 64MB of the Xbox, when it's also used by the graphics chip as texture memory. Case closed.

oops sorry, I didn't read your entire mail. Only the subject was enough to give me a shock. I'll go for xbox emu on PS2 but XBOX is a superior console as far as harware is concerned. So I don't think emulation is possible.

Seems I also didn't read the complete message, but an Xbox emulator on a PS2 is even more rediculous as you'd have to cramp 64MB of RAM into 32MB of RAM, not to mention that the Xbox hardware is more powerful.
