Question first time user questions

I知 a new user to playstation emulation; I actually got the thing working so I知 feely good, .
I知 playing Panzer Front and am having a few problems. I知 not using a controller, just the keyboard and mouse.

When I use the arrow keys to move through menus very often the cursor will fly through the keys, and sometimes it will take several seconds to move.

In some menus or selection screens the START (V) key will not work. I also try all the key options but nothing works. The CIRCLE (X) key will sometimes let me move to the last menu when this happens. Is this a matter of just trying different controller plug-ins

Can I setup so the mouse will work in the game?

Thanks in advance

Which emu are you using? ePSXe doesn't use pad plugins, while others need plugins.

Using ePSXe w/out owning a PSX is just fine. What Lord Kane means is that, technically, it is illegal to have and use a PSX bios unless you own the genuine item (ie. a real PSX). Well actually the only "legal" way to have a PSX bios is if you dump it yourself from your own PSX. So don't worry about using ePSXe enjoy it in good health and yes, basically, any type of conroller is fine to use w/ePSXe so long as it has buttons that can be assinged to the PSX buttons. For instance if you had an Atari joy stick w/one button and could hook it up to your Lap Top, you could have up, down, right, left and 1 PSX button. The rest of the buttons would have to be assigned to keys.
sincerely,
