Yet another problem running VGS

I boot from duel boot system... Win XP and Win 98. I had nero intsalled on Win 98 and thus I thought that VGS would not run in it..... So, I uninstalled Nero and VGS will STILL not run ... it boots up to a black screen, and then just locks up the computer (cant cntrl+alt+del, or alt+tab out of it).... can anyone help me?

TYIA.....

What version of Nero are you using? the latest one don't conflict with VGS afaik.

Try updating your videocard drivers. I had a similar problem a while back (black screen, although I could alt+ F4 out of it) and it was due to the drivers.

VGS has poor support for sports games. I can't even run Gameday 2000 from it.

Hell, I cant even get it running in epsxe. It will, however, run poorly in Bleem .. haha imagine that.... so no suggestions on what to do? I get the first two intro screens.. then it just freezes, though VGS itself does not lock up, just black screen.....

Nope, sorry. Why not try Madden 2002 for the PC?

Aldos (www.aldostools.com) has some tools for increasing compatibility with VGS. You can maybe try those or try another emulator. It's always good to have more than one emulator for any system.

Yeah, I tried getting some better compatiblility for VGS, and that is how I got the first two intro screens to work with it.. but from there it goes nowhere.

I DO use other emus, from one of my posts you will see, I use ePSXe, and Bleem!... Bleem! is the only one that I can get it to work with atm, which sux, cause it looks really nasty and does not run stable (speed-wise, fast one minute and slow the next)....
I do appreciate the posts though. Guess Ill just wait and see if they put out a patch for it to run in ePSXe, cause if it dont run in VGS now, it problably never will hehe.....
