Gran Turismo and PSemu Pro?
I saw the shots at the Cyberpad page. They had PAL version of GT running pretty decently on psemu pro 1.0.21. I have NTSC version and it always freezes at the Notice screen. Did someone get it working too? Maybe somebody can help?

so, i posted this right before the FPSE boom completely overshadowed everything else in this forum (misc psx emu)
now can someone please say something? JNS? is it the plugins? or the bios? do i disable mdec? if only Pal version works, is there a patch to make mine Pal? I'd really like to make it work, so I may have an excuse to dev some plugins for PSemu Pro... hmm, maybe

hi!
You need to enable the Gran Turismo cheat in the PSEmu Pro cheat-menu. This will make it workable ... if you like jumping cars ... because the car's jump totally heavy over the screen and that makes the game nearly unplayable ... but still ... it works with CyberPad Cu, JNS ---- http://cyberpad.psxemu.com http://www.emucheater.com http://blini.psxemu.com http://www.emukult.de Did i forgot anything ?

thanks guys, i'll try that.
btw I think that's exactly what happened when I tried it in FPSE 0.9... kinda funny you used that to test Cyberpad with, heh, like they actually have "synchronized jumping"

Mess around with the graphics plugin your using. I think I remember that ages ago I had the same problem. I either changed some options in one of Pete gpu plugins or i changed to another one of pete's gpu plugins, so just mess around with them a bit. I did get it working eventually, but FireGL is right, just use bleem.

oops, sorry i thought you were talking about solving the jumping car thing.
the original problem (freezing at Notice screen) is solved by using the cheat. i dont know if it was the cheat that gives you jumping cars, maybe a side effect of fixing the problem? or was it a bug unrelated to the cheat. maybe someone can verify that? are you saying you can solve the freezing problem and not get the jumping cars? if so you're super ![]() p.s. i will try playing with Pete's GPU setting anyways, see if it fixes the problem without the cheat?? hi!
FireGL & kl33per : Simply use ePSXe and you don't have this problem too takwu: Nope, the cheat codes which PSEmu use to make the game workable, don't make the cars jumpable. I just tried it with [pec] and ePSXe and it works also with the cheat nice, without jumping cars. Cu, JNS |
