VGS FF7 Problem...
FFVII seems to run slowly on the first movie (After you introduce yourself as cloud) and the movie runs extreamly slow... it just took like, 15 mins just to get to half the part of that scene...
So, what do I do?

Have you restarted you computer? I think you REALLY need to cause you need to free up your RAM. I think that's why VGS goes so slow with the movies. Try restarting and post if it fixed it or not.

Hmmm...I don't know what the problem could be then. I doubt your CPU is too slow cause I ran VGS on a p200 and it didn't go slow on movies and that the video was very choppy but it was still going full speed (or close enough
). Sorry, I couldn't help you, maybe someone else can.

I had a similar problem, but I realised that the disc was really badly scrached. By the way, which video card are you using? Cause my brother has nearly an identical problem with a different version of Final Fantasy 7 and he's using a Savage 4.

Hey Ness151, are u registering the same name on the gamingforce forum?
Anyway, back to the topic, you might need to try out the CVGS Tester, it will adjust certain timing issues by testing your machine properly. If you got more memory (like 256MB) VGS will work better. |
