Annoying VGS problems

VGS tends to crash on me a lot, in different games, in different places each time. This isn't game stopping, but it sure gets annoying after a while. Can anyone help?

(Freeware fix my ***. Don't mention that here again)

Y'know, for an obsolete PC you sure invested a lot of RAM in it. Have you installed the latest drivers for your Voodoo3? And have you upgraded to a recent version of DirectX?

Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread ....anyway,

Win9x based systems don't like lots of RAM, odd as that may sound. More than 512 megs is sure to cause some conflicts. Throw one stick out and be a happier person. If you don't believe me check MSFT's knowledgebase
(for the guy with Win98 and 768 megs not running stable)

Not saying that it couldn't be any other hardware or software related things either. But it's worth a try.

768 MB RAM!?!?!?!?! duh! whats with you? choking your system? Win9X doesnt need that plenty of RAM! instead of buying that RAM why dont you just spend the money on the processor instead of those useless excess RAM sticks! I think the reason you bought plenty of RAM is that you think that adding more RAM would boost your system for a cheaper hardware like RAM! the best thing for you right now is remove excess RAM and try VGS, i think it would most probably solve your problem cause plenty of RAM on win9X system makes the OS choke and go nuts and stop running fine
