A while back when I had Win98 and I had VGS with nero installed I had no problems with it. VGS worked fine.

Nero is (one of the best) CD recording software. It's full name is Ahead Nero Burning ROM (www.ahead.de)

On a lot of machines having the two programs (Nero and VGS) installed caused some problems. I myself experienced some conflicts between the two. There are workaround to make them work with each other, but now I just have Nero installed in Win XP (I can still run Nero from Win 98, it's just not in the registry).

it explains how to fix VGS-Nero problem. You don't need to uninstall Nero.

upgrade to intel processor

i have the problem like you when i was using the AMD K62-500+
with 198 MB RAM, TNT 32MB, 15 GB HDD, 52x CDROM

to solve the problem

you MUST run the VGS 1.3 first... then close it
THEN run the VGS 1.41

its work...

i sell my "old" AMD K62-500...hikz hikz

i swap it for PIII 733
its no problem at all now..

my spec is (for now):
PIII 733EB on Gigabyte GA-6VTXE
20 GB HDD
2 GB SCSI HDD
CDROM SCSI
on ADAPTEC 2940 SCSI CARD
my OLD VGA CARD (32 MB TNT2 AGP)
my OLD sound Card (Yamaha DX SG)
Voodoo1 Graphics accellerator (4MB)
198 MB PC 133 SDRAM
run like a wuuuzzhhh

i oc it AT 150 FSB with extra fan... it stable
become PIII 825MHz

........

next week i swap it for ATHLON XP

hehehehehhehe

....never enough for anything...
