Is there such a thing as an X-fix for PSX games

I've been looking everywhere for info on if there is such a thing as an X-fix for psone games. I know you can create a code to do a Y-fix to change the up/down position but is it possible to change the left/right position of the screen? I'm trying to create a code for Final Fantasy VIII to shift the screen to the right so it's centred on my TV but there is no option to adjust the screen position in game. Any info would be a great help.
