I wrote the v2 extractor file names to match the readme. Again.

Make sure to use the epsxe-dvd5 build with the SapuCDR DVD5 plugin. No 'Run ISO' allowed.
Check the final disc size.
Check the EXE date / Edition.

Sorry to everyone who tried the v2 kit and fixed the naming error themselves.

Thanks for reporting though. I'm going to change the toolkits status:
1. fully tested with epsxe
2. tested by 2 people other than *me*

Then it'll be certified working.

EDIT:
Tell me again if it doesn't work.

FF9 no response...
FF9.bin -> Size 2,67 GB
With the plugin does not even start the game ...
The odd thing is that when charged with ISO continue to select and load a game that works very well ... I think the problem may be in the video startup
Those who tested:
-Lunar Silver Star Complete
-Final Fantasy 9
-Parasite Eve
-Metal Gear Solid
-Chrono Cross
Thanks for all!

Load ISO.. you might be missing out on some movies - be careful. I suppose you somehow might be able to make it through discs 1-2 though.
At least you're playing now.

When the time comes again, here's the troubleshoot guide:
- Run epsxe-DVD5 + Sapu DVD5 (OR Peops DVD5)
- Run -> enable logs
- Close / reopen emu
- Run CDROM
- Examine the logs

My Grandia one looks like this:
Code:
 * First/Last track: 1 1
 * Track 1: (DATA)  - Start 0: (00,02,00) -  Length 125:00
 * Force NTSC cdrom detected. (SCUS_944.57)
Yours should look something similar. If not, try changing drives.
Daemon Tools / Virtual CloneDrive / MagicDisc

Sometimes setting the drive manually helps in the CDR plugin

This is the log:

I do not know if "arming" bad emulator, what I did was copy the "epsxe-dvd5.exe" folder in my previous emulator and plugins in its own folder ... if I ran the emulator from the folder "bin" showed an error of missing library ...
Really thanks man
oh I forgot ... I use alcohol 120% to load the virtual iso

Warning: Only use epsxe-dvd5 for FF8 / FF9 (DVD5 builds). That's a big one.

When you see SLU_000.00, that means it didn't detect your CDROM drive. Or doesn't like the image you loaded. Either set the drive manually or try one of the other proggies mentioned:
Daemon Tools / Virtual CloneDrive / MagicDisc

Keeping the epsxe-dvd5 in the same folder as epsxe is perfectly fine!

I don't know what happend...
but now that line appears "SLUS_012.51" and load the game now, but when I mount with the "Load ISO", the new game and hang ...
I will never play FF9 on one disc?

Load CDROM is the only 'correct' way to play FF9 DVD.
Load ISO shouldn't work.

If 'Load CDROM' shows the SLUS_012.51 and the 'New Game' hangs.. maybe you've got the Original Edition (black disc). I don't have access to that version, which is an unreported problem.

Thank you:
ExJam - tutorial on DLL injection

This is a loader that will allow 'Run ISO/CDROM' to have full 480-minutes
DVD5 functionality (normally not permitted with normal PS1 hardware)

Place the 'bin' files into your ePSXe directory and run ePSXe_dvd5.exe

Other than unpacking, it will -not- modify your original ePSXe.exe file
and will continue to work as before

152,160,170 features:
- Run CDROM works with (non-)DVD5 games + SaPu / PEOpS CDR plugins
- Run ISO works with (non-)DVD5 games
- DVD5 save/load states

170 or higher features:
- INI file

Fast_start = 1
 speed bootup of game until display turns on

Timer_precise = 1
 used for more accurate Sleep function, not necessary

Throttle_FPS_off = 180
 if non-zero, -try- to throttle at this FPS while using sleeping
 intended for laptops not burning up at 100% CPU usage

Max_FPS_key = 0x08  (BACKSPACE)
 press this key to disable the above throttling limit
 check vk_list.txt for replacement keys

Autorun = 4
 automatically start ePSXe with 'Run CDROM' or 'Run ISO'
 1 = run cdrom (confirm)
 2 = run cdrom (autostart)
 3 = run iso (start)
 4 = run iso (confirm)
 5 = run iso (autostart)

WARNINGS:
- This may not work with Windows 95/ME

Current: version 4
- (v4) autorun + command-line parameters working
- (v3) fixes keys not working correctly on GPUshutdown -> GPUopen

If new versions of ePSXe are released, I'll need to recompile the program later.

Throttle_fps_off is more useful for 'Vsync off' or PEOpS Soft GPU

Wow!!! Is great!!! I just test comes from work and it works very well.
No doubt that you are the best man

Oh, I test PE2 and the only bug I found so far that the video was starting to give the new game is a mix of several videos coming out in the game, just see the final and all

I recommend this thread to be a sticky and be renamed to Disc Combining Kits and moved to Misc PSX Discussion.

Thanks, jonc2006. (:
