My friend gave me his copy of metal gear soild and I riped a Bin file inseatd of a ISO or Img for some stupid reason. can I make a playable game using the BIN file? I tryed changing it back to a Img file useing UlrtaISO but it didn't load on my chiped PS2. Any help?

And BTW I can't borrow the game again because he went ona holiday. (damn!)

I think bin files can be burned and played on a PS2. Not entirely sure.

Does it also have a CUE file?

Btw, I'm not sure if what you explained is considered piracy...

Yea, there's a CUE file, what's that for?

And I realy didn't think this whould count as piracy since HE brougt the game and you can't get it anywhere anymore.

Yeah, but the point is YOU don't own the game. So I don't know if the mods consider that piracy.

The CUE file is also for the burning. I heard people saying to just burn the files at the slowest writing speed.

But I'm not sure, I never burned a PS2 game... /:

This is a common form of piracy.

Yes, standing as it is this is piracy.

You are encouraged to use borrowed games but if you want to make make
backups you must have original game the whole time you use that backup.

When you get the original game follow this tutorial to make a backup.
