new emulator? excellent speed

I don't know how many of you have heard about this emulator, but I tried it for the first time last night and it ran Final Fantast IX and Ace Combat 2 with excellent speed, In FFIX I just watched the opening movie and played the first battle with no slow down during the battle transition! Ace Combat 2 ran perfect, anyway its called Emurayden, i got it from Zophar's Domain in the PSX emulator section.

Emurayden is not a new emulator, it's just a hacked version of VGS. There's one big difference, though: Emurayden is a freeware.

so...did connectix say "go ahead and make it freeware" or is zophar officially sponsoring warez?

Yeah... that's strange... and teh official homepage of Emurayden contains some not very legal stuff.

That program is a hack of a comercial emulator, which SONY now owns the rights to. The webmasters of that site might not realize this is an illegal program.

odd...I think they should have known at zophar's? No-one there noticed?

I mailed them about it....as far as I know Zophar aims to be a legal site, and they normally dont accept hacked emus.

Zophar is legal but that emu isnt.
I know about 3-4 similar emus which are hacks of cvgs.They arent legal at all.

That emulator is just a hacked warezed version of VGS. Just because the workers (decided to tone this word down, because someone might be offended by what is an appropriate label for the posters at the site) at Zophar.net can't seem to figure that out doesn't mean it's any more legit. With those facts in mind, I'll lock this.
