Is using Bleem! nonsense now ?

Many emulators are great today, and make our PSX games work much better than in our console...

Is Bleem a relic of the past ?

Bleem was good but plugin based emulators are great. We Already have had a lot of discussion about it.

I'd have to agree seeing how it doesn't work on the newer versions of windows.

New versions of Windows? Hell, bleem acts all screwy on new computers! Everything runs on 150fps on my Dell.

as an early PSX emulator bleem was ok....But as a commercial product, Bleem abesolutely sucked, I never felt I got my money's worth, since none of my games ever ran properly on it.
VGS, on the other hand, was a much better product in terms of function and compatibility.

Even under 400 MHz, with a sucky video card, Epsxe works better than Bleem! 1.6...

And, in fact, the main purpose of this poll is that I wanted to know if the 'Bleem Discussion' area was worth a look sometimes...

If I recall, bleem needed a pretty good videocard even...16MB recommended...a sucky card is 8mb...not enough..

I'm not sure how much longer we'll be keeping this forum, to be quite honest. If we don't plan on adding any forums, it'll probably stay put for a while, but not very many people still use it.

I think the Bleem! forum will soon be used to discuss about Bleemcast, do you think so Ryos ?

P.S. : Why do you hate me ?

bleemcast is over already, and so is dreamcast, so I doubt that will be talked about a lot

hmmm

We still play with Bleem on occasion with games like Tekken 2 and Bloody Roar. Plugin based emulators don't quite got the emulation of these games right yet...so Bleem serves as an alternative....Our actual PSX could be used too, but the enhancements are nice

I still like Bleem. I use it when all my other psx emus dont work and most time it does.. hehe ... but I DO wish someone would take the ball and roll with it like they did with UltraHLE (granted I realize this is a bit different because of it being commercial and all ). I think Bleem (with some more work) could still be great.

ePSXe rocks.......

VGS is a desperation emu but functional still.............

Ya Like Lunar 1 which doesn't run well under Epsxe.

Unfortunately Bleem no longer works with my system due to me using windows 2k.
