you can download an updated list, put it in you usb flash card and run AR. The update will be installed on your memory card.

for action replay you need the codelist.bin.
you can get it here.
you have replace the old codelist on your cd with the new codelist.

use PS2 Savebuilder to unpack the codelist from the .max archive

that's not the problem elite, the game cd has a copy protection.
i know how to bakup this disk, but it's not easy to do this.

the protection is based on many corrupted sectors and a fake TOC
the fake TOC is a full CD, but the real is not more then 80 MB.

the problem to bakup this, is to find the currupted sectors and don't dump them, only the not corrupted sectors. (same goes for AR2, SwapMagic, etc.)

i know.
you have to add these dummy files: BIG2.DAT, BIG.DAT, DUMMY.ZIP, PADDING

just copy all files from your AR Max CD to your HDD except these files i told above.
then unpack the dummy files from the rar archive and add them to your ARMax folder on HDD.
replace the \RES\CODELIST\US_CODELIST.BIN or EU_CODELIST.BIN with the new one that you downloaded at codejunkies.com.

when you have US Games only then replace the US_CODELIST.BIN.
you can also replace both.
Attached Files
File Type: rar Armax_dummys.rar (21.7 KB, 32 views)
