Kid13 and =>Cr@sH<=, you might want to take a look at this guide: I'm pretty sure that it will work for you Expecially the Alternate Ending. Posted earlier:

Here is a guide for FFX-2. This will take about 5Gb before finishing, due to creating an ISO on the computer. When you extract the LBA file right click on it where its located and go to "EDIT" Scroll down to the bottom and delete all lines except the lines where FILE(Whatever) is located[other words keep that whole entire string on that line]. It varries between PAL and NTSC. I have also gone ahead and narrowed it to the 11 FMV's for both PAL and NTSC.

For PAL, keep these lines in the LBA that contain:
FILE9366-FILE9376
For NTSC, keep these lines in the LBA that contain:
FILE9118-FILE9128

That will save you tons of disc Space. Hope it helps!

Incase that one doesn't work, Here is another one. I've tried them before and they both work.

Lets not forget that this is "GiGaHeRz's FMV Search & Extract Tool" thread.

Err... I've gotten kind of confused over the comments made a few pages back. Will the FMV Search & Extract Tool get the FMV's from Kingdom Hearts or will it not? If so, what settings have to be on? Sorry, I'm not very computer literate.

It finds strings, but you are unable to view the FMV. I believe it has detected false FMV strings, meaning that you can't "get the FMV's from Kingdom Hearts"

There is NO extractor out for Kingdom Hearts. Only for the Japan Final Mix. You can do a search for it on google if that is what you are looking for.

No, I believe gargar no special. Xenosaga 2 special, Xenosaga 2 video format (Sofdec with AdX) special, to be exact.

I got myself a copy of Cube Media Player, because it claims to be able to play that format and I will try it as soon as I get my disc back.

Fine. I tried it on some of my other games, but I got pissed, because its search function took forever and sometimes didn't even find anything.

Unhappy

I am having trouble getting FMVTool to work. I have tried all the plugins I can find, but it still gives me the error "Couldn't find any usable CDVD plugin.". Maybe it's where I have to put the plugins is why it doesn't work?

It only extracted the videos from Moto GP3.Tekken and FFX are full Of FMVS so how's it possible it didn't found anything?

Didn't Tekken4 have mainly realtime cut-scenes? That might be the reason.

About FFX: It uses a completely different video format. There are of course other tools capable of extracting those FMVs. Search this thread.

Well as of FFX i don't really care to extract them i was just wondering mainly what the reason was that nothing was found.

As for Tekken 4,it has real time cutscenes? So that means no video can be extracted whatsoever?

And what about Tony Hawks Underground? Can something be done to achieve the voideo extraction?

Ok i got the videos but i have some questions!

A)When i first press start scaning,it recognizes the disc as type 5 unknow so i have to press stop and then again start to recognize it as type 20 ps2,and this happens all the time.

B)What's Method 2?

C)What the difference in the read method?2330 and 2048?

D)Also is it possible to rename the mpgs accordingly to the content? If the file is intro.pss to name it intro.mpg.

E)Can someone plz tell me the best cdvd configuration?

thanx in advance!
