Full Speed Ps2 emu

You wont believe this. Ive found a ps2 emulator called emution engine on http://www.zophar.net/psx2.html.
It runs the 3d stars demo at 60-80 fps.

My specs: Windows XP. No service Pack
amd athlon xp 1.1Ghz and 256MB ram. Nvidia Geforce 2 graphics card. By the way this emu uses the old plugins. Wont work with new pcsx plugins

I dont know if this Emu is a Fake or not, but it is one thing to make a homebrew Demo run with 60fps and another to do the same thing with a real PS2 Game.

Well its not a PCSX2 related news.. secondly we all over here love PCSX2.. we don't need any recommended ps2 emus.. secondly ps2 has passed its demo playing time..now its looking forward to run ur original ps2 games at 60-80 fps.. plz no more messages like this.. I think the admins are going to ban this thread or ........ - Abbas

I've dld some file from zophar's web and all worked... I'm getting it...

Edit: I got it and I was able to configure it (the plugin selection dialog doesn't work too well ), but I just can't get it to run 3stars ... maybe the gs plugin is too new?

For anyone interested, there's a mirc script which converts "/me 's" into " * nickname's whatever" and adds a nice "/my" command.

PCSX2 is faster than that with those demos anyway. They don't exactly stress the PS2 hardware...

At least, you used it this time.

Hmm, I never tried this emution emulator. The only one I ever got to even show anything was PCSX2. All the other emulators I've heard about that run anything use at least some code from PCSX2.
