PS2 emulation and flickering textures

When emulating PS1, textures 'move'. Will PS2-emus too have flickering textures in emulated games?

Re: PS2 emulation and flickering textures

I don't think so since the PS2 should have a z-buffer which will enable such things as Perspective correction and per pixel accuracy.

Actually the textures will still 'warp' in PS1 games emulated on PS2 (Console and PS2 Emulator) because the games were not coded to utlize a z-buffer. (PSX had no z-buffer, so the games didn't call for one).

Re: PS2 emulation and flickering textures

He's talking about PS2 games emulated on a ps2 emulator. In that case, it will have a z-buffer.

The ps2 has the actual hardware to run ps1 games. Not emulate them.
