I have read it, but i see a difference between:
1. the perfect emulation of a console based on my desires.
and
2. perfect emulation

As i see it 1. has already happened for me, but not for everybody,
still.. it might not be possible....
And 2. donno, is the VGS able to do _everything_ a psx does?
if not, it will probably never happen...

I agree ZappaZ that was the type of perfection I was trying to get across!

The no.1 you write here is depend on each person who use it. A real perfect emulation [no2.] only happend when it playable exactly as in the console [in this case PlayStation 2], or even better.

About VGS, the answer is NO! VGS still have many bugs and major "minus" in their emulation.

About VGS:
i see, have never bothered to buy it... was just wondering..

About real perfect emulation:
I think you are wrong, let me make an example
If you want to make a perfect copy of a volvo 240 (with 170hp)
and you put in a 300hp engine jut to make it faster
is it still a perfect copy?
no because you can't get the exact same feeling when driving a
car thats exacly the same except its faster... right?

bottom line..

Perfect emulation is really overrated.

Yeah, I must admit I need some corrections. What I'm talking here is for emulation : "even better" could be 3D, sharpen, clearer, more realistic and so on.
