PS2 emulation on a MIPS cpu
I know this sounds a bit silly, since PCSX2 already does the job well on the latest x86 processors. But I was wondering if it would be possible to write such an emu for a MIPS processor. That way, most of the code can run natively with fewer slowdowns. I am guessing that it will still suffer from having to work on the other components, such as VU0, VU1, SPU2 and the GS GPU, right? And considering it is hard to find any decent MIPS computers anywhere, I might need to perform a search on shopping sites first.
But still, it's not such a bad idea, right? |

no good idea.
pcsx2 is a PS2 emulator for home use, and over 90% of all people at home have X86 Hardware, rest is Power PC. so no go...
