This is an excellent question. I just got a Saitek P750. I can use it for any of the games on my computer except the ePSXe games.

re: how do i configure my controller...

hmm...

i own a gravis gamepad pro usb too.... it broke long time ago.....

well first i put the joystick in the d-pad....
and then my sister was playing a snowboarding game... and it broke off....

so now theres the joystick bottom stuck in...

well the gamepad axis still work...

......

try going in control panel -> gamepads -> and check if everything works....

and if it still does not work.... in your daily software.... then try downloading the gravis xperience software... and it might get it to work....

other then that.... make sure you have the right driver installed and it is enabled.... and working properly...

hope that helps bugger

DougDflute ->

im no epsxe guy.... but i think there are many input plugins...

keep changing and testing... and im pretty sure it will respond.... :|
