newb with basic q's

Ok, I just recently found out that my 64 is not working, at least not all the time. As I was looking for a replacement console I came across the emulators. I went to the following site and downloaded both emu's and a couple of the games I like playing.

*snip*

Now, are these pretty decent emulators to use or are there some better ones? Also, are there other sites that are like this but may have a few different games, and are all games compatible with all emulators?

Last but not least, I was looking at some N64 to USB adapters on ebay, any suggestions? I don't want to spend money on the adaptoids and never use rumble packs so I dont care about that feature. Here's a couple I was looking at.

Thanks for any input guys.

first of all, NGEmu doesn't support piracy. so don't post any links or expect support for such games.

and i have that PSX/N64 adapter, the brand is Boom and it's alright. the PSX part died, the N64 part still lives on however. you can get it at Lik-Sang which might be cheaper than ebay.

The emulator is perfectly legal. However, you're supposed to dump games from cartridges you already own. Downloading games you have a physical copy of is not legal.
