Does anyone know how to decompress the save states?

I've posted this question at forums over the years and even tried emailing Lemmy with on response and it's starting to piss me off. I want to know how to decompress the save states or even how to patch Nemu to disable the compression.

What? I want to decompress them so I can edit the goddamn things. i.e. for cheating purposes, since save states are the same as a RAM dump with extra data at the beginning or end. The Dump Memory thing annoys the **** out me. I'd rather use save states becuase there's a nifty shortcut key to save all 4/8 megs of RAM on demand. The program I wrote for searching already supports PJ64 save states, but I prefer Nemu when possible because it has the memory viewer/editor.
