How to configure UltraHLE

Hi all,

I'm trying to see What's the best N64 emu around, PJ64 means to be good but some games doesn't work yet.
It seems that UltraHLE and SupraHLE are better.
I downloaded both, I tryed to configure them but NOTHING works
What's wrong?

The test machine is :
- W2K pro
- PIII 866
- Radeon
- 256 MB RAM

Thanks..

Either get a Voodoo-based video card, or use a Glide wrapper. Your choice.

For further information you can see the glide wrappers section on our great NGEMU site(its new and really good). You may also want to take a look at this older thread---

I tried some glide wrappers, set them like explained in the "readme" files but still nothing.

BTW I forgot to say that I have also a Vodoo2 card in that machine and until now, with the "only" beta drivers I got, this card is fully opperationnal.

The symptom I got is the following : when I load the game the emu just disapear!!!! (like if I close it)

Any idea?

SupreHLE and UltraHLE are better thatn PJ64 in some points, but they are for sure less compatible.

If you have a Voodoo2, then you don't need any glide wrappers. The emulator will automaticaly use the card. Are you sure other Glide(not D3D) programs work fine? Have you tried 3rd party drivers? The only one that I know is Xpentor, which does not work very well with my Voodoo2, but I don't know if there is another drivers developer for voodoo2. I'm using the latest official drivers(3.02.02) and they work just fine. I tried 3dfx's beta drivers(3.03 or something like that) and they didn't work for me.
