hello, I have a small question about the two programs in question. RomCenter reports some roms as "unknown rom" but GoodN64 verfied them just fine and as good roms, whats up with that? is it a good rom or not? Thanks. |

Look at it this way, GoodN64 has a larger database. Therefore it is more reliable. If the game functions properly and works fine than who cares what ROMCenter says? If GoodN64 says a ROM is good, it is good. If you feel unsure about it still, simply patch it and make it into 'another ROM' that is guarenteed to be good. (yes you can do this to good and bad ROMs alike, I personally recommend it for good ROMs you are unsure about if you have the time, just to be safe) I forget the URL of the patching utility that I use (and the database of patches) but try Googling IPS ROM patcher or PMing Zephon and asking him, he would definetely be glad to help (he gave me the URL originally). Good Luck! |
