What is the best emu for Ogre Battle 64?

I've used Project64, and while it's playable, the backgrounds are missing and it's kinda slow during the battle scenes. Is there a good plugin for PJ64, or is another emu better?

You could try 1964, it's also a great emulator.
For gfx plugin, some people get to run the game with Jabo's D3D 1.5, while others can't. Rice's Daedalus plugin is a good option, it is said to run fine Ogre Battle 64.

1964 is a great emu, it runs the game very fast, however the backgrounds are still missing during the battle sequences. Is this a ROM issue, EMU issue or a plugin deal? I'm at a loss.

BTW, I've used both Rice's Daedelus and Jabo's plugins. Both have the same missing backgrounds. I know this game wasn't supported by emus for a long time, I don't know how recent the playable version is, so if this is just the byproduct of being unable to be emulated, sorry for the questions.

It's a plugin issue I believe. There's nothing out currently that fixes the problems in OB64 though, unfortunately.
