Question Pal and Ntsc Speed

Im just wondering, would Pal games come out faster on N64 Emus than NTSC games because Pal is 50FPS and NTSC is 60?

yeah slightly slower, but it depends on how the game is coded as to what difference you see.
just as an exapmle, the pal version of gt2 for the psx is actually slightly faster than the ntsc version when driving it low speeds - because thats the way it is coded - but the ntsc version is faster overall)

I suppose that is true.
Take for example DoA2 and Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2 (This is relevent, trust me)
DoA 2 has a 60Hz option for PAL. If you run in 50Hz mode, it runs as fast, but you get borders on the top and bottom of the screen bigger that George Bush's ego. TTT on the other hand has no such option. It also has no black borders, but is slower than a lethargic sloth with weights attached to his feet. The fighters act geriactic. The NTSC fighters are faster than a copy of 'Hello' in a nunnery.
PAL gamers are stuck, for the most part with poor quality ports of games, although our TV systm is theoreticaly superior to NTSC. We get more colours and higher resoloution. All TVs sold after about 1995 can also do PAL 60 (all the benifits of PAL + 60Hz support. Only HDTV is better). So why not support it? Why are European gamers so scorned by software companies. The Traversies mount up when so many class games never get released here after being released in the states (most notably Xenogears and Final Fantasy tactics)
Anyhow, enough of my preaching: In general a PAL dump of an N64 game will be slower or have black borders, in comparison to it's NTSC counterparts.
