TR64 Going so slow!

I downloaded TR64 over at Emulation64, they said the specs were

P3 450
64mb Ram

I have
P3 450
128mb Ram
16mb voodoo banshee

I am using glide64 grahpic plugin, it doesnt matter what sound plugin I use, it still goes incredibly slow with sound. There is some speed inprovement when i use the no sound plugin. What can I do (besides upgrading any part of my machine) to speed up the emulator. Is there any options I can turn off or on. BTW changing to a lower rez does nothing to the speed on my comp for some reason.

You can try highering the CF.

Well Tuning up the CF helped very little. It only made it incredibly fast when nothing was going on, high trafic areas were still incredibaly slow. I have come to the conclusion that Glide64 requires faster specs (even though i dont now why it would), and 1964 and pj64 need a faster processor than a p3 450. Thanks for your help anyway though

TR64 isnt really fast enough to work decently with your specs.

Use suprahle (it will be best for you).
You can also try pj64 or 1964 .

I have been wanting to have a higher level of compatibility (Zelda MoM and 007 TWINE) so i was trying to get TR64 running. 1964 and Pj64 both run at the same speed as Tr64 on my comp. Like said earlier it is probably Glide64. It probably needs a faster comp but if anyone can Tell me how to get a huge speed improvement of 1964 or PJ64 using Glide64 I would greatly aprreciate it.

Specs

P3 450
128MB Ram
16 voodoo Banshee

Highering the CF in Tr64 doesnt help, and disabling the sound does little to the speed. For Some Reason Daedalus wont go fullscreen using glide64 so that emulator is out the window. Thanks for your time.

I know this may sound stupid, but back in early 2001 when i posted alot at emutalk (nick Morpheus) but since then they changed board software.. a guy buy the nick of clsugarman spent alot of time on improving speed and quality of vodoo3 / banshee output. He found that installing Voodoo 5 drivers on your voodoo3 (possibly your banshee), will improve many things, and when i had an agp slot for my V3, it really does help. try that thanks to clsugarman, back in 2k1.. i miss those days

I tried it and it didnt work but I did do something cool. While playing around with the options on 1964 I got Army men air combat and aero gauge running full speed all the other games are still slow though.
