n64 controllers
is it possible to use an n64 controller with an emu wiyhout havin to buy one of those cable thingys?

You need a converter cable. If you don't, where do you plan to connect the N64 controller? There's no similar connector in the PC.
Edit: Moved. This has nothing to do with PJ64.

You could build one, but I fail to see how you could do it otherwise. Where would you connect it?

i mean can u modify the cable and put a usb connection or something on the end. i saw this done for a psx controller on the psx emu boards

yes, i believe the dpadpro drivers still work in ME. but seriously, if you arent all that crazy about soldering, you should consider just buying a converter..
