Adaptoid for sale

Hi everyone, I'm selling an Adaptoid on eBay. Normally I wouldn't make myself threads to self-promote, but I've read lots of discussion on this site about it, and I thought that some of you would find this valuable and that this thread could possibly generate some discussion.

Adaptoid - Nintendo N64 Controller to USB Adapter RARE - eBay (item 160374165403 end time Nov-09-09 22:31:24 PST)

$51? Thats a bit much. You can buy a better preforming Xbox 360 Controller for half that. Granted that's a must have for accurate emulation, but 99% of users here would give up accuracy for comfort.

Haha, I wasn't at all expecting it to get that high... I started it at $30 since it was the retail price I paid for it, and these are hard to find.

I guess people just want to play with the original controller. I've tried a few of the cheaper adapters and could never get them to work.

Adaptoids are expensive because of their capabilities.

Totally useless on NT6.x x64 of course.

Holy crap... it just sold for $156. That's insane... way more than I expected.

I feel like I just ripped someone off.

Epic price! Whats so special about it anyway? The original N64 controller wasn't all that great to begin with.

It supports a large number of controllers and peripherals, is plug and play, and has support for transferring save files onto a PC or using the rumble pack. Saves and rumble only work on x86 systems, though.
