Unhappy Need help on Paper Mario. Freezes after Name Entry.

I really need some help guys cause this game comes highly reccomended I hear. After I select my save slot and enter my name and hit ok the game freezes every time. I thought it was the ini compatability but I just got the new one and it still does the same thing. Can someone help me?

Well I just tried it with Project 64 and it seems to be working fine. So I guess you dont have to discern yourselves with trying to help me to get it working on NEMU64. Although I would like to know what was wrong with it in the first place. It seems like it could not create a save file of something. Oh well perhaps the new release. Thanks anyway.

paper mario isn't compatible with nemu 0.7 tho 0.8 looks VERY good, it plays banjo tooie
