Getting in contact with orkin
Hi, maybe somebody can get in contact with Orkin - the author of glN64 (and dx64/direct64). The problem is that mupen64plus wants (or actual does it) ship his plugin glN64 inside their emulator. As mupen64plus is GPL the glN64 must also be distributed under a compatible license (for example GPL2+ or BSD-3). Orkin had released the sources of glN64 0.4.1, but never stated under which conditions. This makes it unacceptable for legal distribution or to change it. There were no success until now to contact him, but maybe there is one who is able contact him. More information can also be found at Licensing for GlN64 - EmuTalk.net |
