Does N64 have a BIOS?

[THIS IS NOT A REQUEST!]

I never did learn much about how N64 worked, all I know is that my cousin has my N64 and I miss playing Castlevania. I noticed that none of the N64 emulators I've used require a BIOS, so that leads me to ask this, does it actually have a BIOS? Just asking because there's not alot of information on the N64 (that I could find). Thanks.

Yes. It's not required to be dumped for emulation purposes because it's so simple to HLE.

That's what I remember from a document by the UltraHLE devs. I'm not having any luck finding it to back up my claim though.
