problem with audio in mupen64plus (linux)

Hi this emulator is great but i have a problem, I use ubuntu 8.10 and I installed this emu and the audio was a bit poor so i changed the options on the audio plugin jttl and now there is no sound. I don't remember how the options were by default. I tried changing the plugin to the uhle but I put it on the plugins folder but still doesnt appear in the options of the emu. Please help me, thanks in advance

pd: the version of the emu is 1.5 and sorry for bad english

Delete the cfg or ini file.

didn't work. now it doesn't even work, doesn't matter i'll play it on my real nintendo or in windows. I tried to use this emu to try zelda because I have the real nintendo but not zelda ocarina yet and I don't even have mario 64 but thanks anyway
