[Unr. N64 Game] Toon Panic Prototype leaked!

Rejoice N64/Beta stuff fans, Toon Panic is now among us!

Toon Panic was a fighting game being developed by Bottom Up for the Nintendo 64.

It seems that one of the owners of the original proto cart decided to share this interesting piece of N64 history with everyone, so finally we can play it.. or at least we can try it for about an hour. Sadly Bottom Up went bankruptcy too soon and the Toon Panic Project was not finished: “Toon Panic is an original N64 game. It is a 3D arena fighting game in the spirit of Power Stone on Dreamcast. The game was never achieved due to the bankruptcy of its developer, Bottom up. Unfortunately the game is far from beeing complete. There is nice intro with a cool music, no main game, a multiplayer mode but without IA and some debug features.” To be able to try the unfinished multiplayer mode, you need to find it in the japanese options menų (use the 2° controller to move)
I've always wanted to see this one... not only because I am a beta freak but also due the rumours of a beta cartridge copy being sold to a guy on eBay (that happened sometime ago, 2005 or 2006, I don't remember). Some people doubted about the truthfulness of that game pak and Toon Panic was given as dead and unreleased. Now after a few years of silence, they managed to get that beta copy and dump it for us. :3

Nothing much to add to Unseen's review. The music is really cool and it would have been as good as Power Stone. The graphics weren't groundbreaking but for a beta stage, they were very N64 ranged. Unfortunately, the version also lacks of a good variety of moves (I just played a few minutes while taking screenshots, I could only jump and punch lol) so we might never know how good the gameplay was supposed to be.

The game is already around... in fact those news are from december. It's possible that most of you already know about it. Not sure if posting a download link of an unreleased game would be against the rules or not, so search it for yourself. If you go to the Unseen64 site, they also have a link to video on youtube.

Before checking the screenshots I took, I'd suggest you to go get a clean underwear now. You'll either **** bricks of astonishment or will piss yourself from laughter (more precisely on the Character Selection ones ).
