Hi...
I'm looking for a great J2ME emulator. I only found "M Power Player", but this emulator is not good, because it's: Low-end emulator. Very buggy. Very high memory usage. Doesn't support most 3D games. Emulate 80% of most of games. Also people can develop their own J2ME emulator base on free "M Power Player" SDK: mpowerplayer - mobile games » Blog Archive » SDK Build 1185 SDK Build 1185 Notable changes: Core: improved graphics performance and fidelity on OS X, finally! (on Java 5 only) Core: fixed keyboard arrow keys not received by canvas. Core: better handling for international characters in file url paths when opening jads/jars. Core: support for bango purchasing: use MPP-Bango-Product-ID in your jad. Core: jad properties in an mpz were not getting whitespace trimmed. Core: fixed bug in skip() where EOF was ignored causing long pauses while reading. Core: jads can now refer to other jads as well as jars or mpzs. Core: open URL dialog no longer requires explicit http:// Core: can override keycode mapping for softkeys with MPP-Keypad-*-Keycode: useful for emulating devices Core: can specify MPP JAD properties with java environment properties (using -D): useful for build scripts. Core: can now suppress record store reading/writing in webstart player with MPP-Suppress-Record-Stores M3G: now using lwjgl1.0beta with universal binaries for OSX M3G: fixed errors in deserializing KeyFrameSequences. M3G: improved lighting with normals. M3G: fixed errors in deserializing Image2D with custom palettes. |

There are a number of other emulators you could try, some of which opensource. Help yourself with whatever of these fits your needs. Other than that, there seems to be versions specific to some brands, and not really all that crosscompatible in output.

I use the sony ericsson emulator that comes with the Sony Ericsson J2ME SDK it runs fine for me. (i use just to hack some saves and send to my cellphone XD)
just a little test: XIII 2 Micro Emulator ![]() The emulator cuts some parts of the screen and it crashes on loading. Official Sony Ericsson w900 emulator ![]() ![]() runs fine. Last edited by Hiei-YYH; April 25th, 2008 at 17:12. |

You know...
These emus are really sucks, because of incompatibilities & advance features. You know, J2ME games specs are very similar to GBA. We know the best known GBA emu: VBA. VBA is really great & high-end. But we don't know the great known emu like VBA for J2ME. Free SDKs are available for developing great/high-end J2ME emus. But IDK why developers don't develop a high-end emu for J2ME. |

Yes... you're right, but... Let's just talk about J2ME emulator for Windows PC. Why developers don't develop a J2ME emu like Visual Boy Advance? |
