Rip BIOS/Firmware?

Hi.
I have a DS I want to rip my firmware/BIOS from (whichever one you get the language from), because currently the one running around the net is French, and that kinda... sucks. Well, unless there's another one I'm not aware of, but never mind illegal stuff right now.
Ripping BIOS/Firmware is legal and talk-able, yeah? How can I do that myself?

Edit: Er, by rip I mean dump, but the topic name is stuck now so meh.

No response whatsoever? So much for "don't do it illegally, dump your own".
Kinda surprising there hasn't been a topic like this.

Connect your DS to the computer, open no$gba with any game and here's a screenshot for the rest. Also, one text file that shows the stuff you need to connect a ds to your computer.

How can you connect the DS to a computer with a GBA link cable as described in the .txt? DSs don't have the GBA link cable port.
