Street Fighter 2 Revival

Those of you who are Street fighter Fans, remember SF2 the new challengers?

GBA have a version of this game called Street Fighter 2 Revival.

It has the same characters but most of them have a few more moves. The
graphics are pretty cool, almost identical to the arcade SF2 versions.

Also Capcom have fixed a few of the endings (like Cammy's) that didn't make a lot of sense when compared to the backgrounds of the SF Alpha series.

If you enjoy Street fighter 2 this game is worth checking out.

ps: It this is old news I'm sorry for wasting a thread but I only found the GBA cartridge in a video game store a week ago.

Indeed...Capcom fixed a few endings in order to make more sense of the series that became altered with the Alpha series. This is an excerpt from the StreetFighter FAQ

Street Fighter 2 Revival does update SF2 to reconcile it with Alpha. For one thing, they removed the part where Blanka doesn't recognize his real name which reconciles it with the fact that he already knows his real name in Alpha. In addition, Cammy's ending was updated to clarify things a lot more. Her original ending had Bison telling her that she killed for him (NOT that they were lovers. Capcom of USA changed her ending for the US version for some stupid reason). Her new ending in Revival has Bison telling her that she was a clone of him, instead. They also updated Balrog's (boxer) ending to be a joke ending where he somehow screws things up for Shadaloo and bungles his chance for greatness. I'm going to assume that these endings are the new canon endings for Street Fighter 2, since they fit in with the Alpha plotline a lot more than the old. As far as I know, SF2 Revival was developed and ported by Capcom, so there shouldn't be any questioning of its canonity on the grounds of Third Party creation...

Other stuff...after SFA3..ole Sagat is a good guy (He just wants to compete against Ryu again)..so in SF2 Revival he is no longer member of Shadaloo..so his ending is changed..lord knows what else is changed

Judging by your user name is Akuma/Gouki your favourite SFA character?

I found out that apparently you can unlock Akuma/Gouki on SF2 revival if you get 5000 vs points.

He's my favourite of the non-good aligned characters

I still need 4600 vs points to unlock him in SF2 revival
