GBA flash card + Mario and Luigi problem!

I have one of the first general F2A 256 megabit flash cards and when I flash Mario and Luigi on it everything works fine except saves. It tells me that it can't save.

Is there anyway I can patch the game so I can save again?

I'v heard flashes will do that to you, err I mean your games... well to fix it you may want to try flashing it again unless ofcourse you can't... If I where you I would buy the game itself

It's not the flashing....I think Mario and Luigi is one of those games that don't work with SRAM save. But so far all of those games with those problems had some sort of sram patch applied so it would work with flash carts.
