I really don't think so. The GBA can have code ported to it and run SNES games that way, but IMO there is not enough power to do it on the fly as it were

I'd say they would have a res issue. Well... sorta. If you tried to play snes stuff on a real GBA, you'd be in trouble. From everything that's been ported from the snes, they didn't have to change resolution much from what it looks like, they have just had to reposition all of the icons and make chars bigger... way bigger, because the GBA screen is just so daaaaaaaamn tiny.

The nomad. IIRC it dissapeared into the bowels of history without a trace.

either that or squeeze the entire screen to a spec of about nothing. The text would be so small you can't even rad it probably. You'll have to lover the resoltuion, severely

the processing power of the gba isn't enough to directly emulate
the snes. as for all the ports of the games that have come out, the usually use the same graphics that's why the sprites looks so big, as the resolution of the gba is only 240x160 if i remember correctly. other emulators that have appeared on the gba, like the nes, master system, pc engine and spectrum. all give the option to scale the image to fit onto the gba's resolution, as even the speccy had a higher resolution than the poor gba. but this means you loose some lines of graphics, so if pixels are drawn on one of those lines it won't even be seen. as for the sega nomad, it was a portable sega genesis/megadrive that was released in japan and america. it had six buttons, aswell as the start and mode buttons, a back light, and a tv out. you can usually track them down on eBay.
