I doubt it, considering that the GBA has about just as much power (just a little more) than the SNES. And emulating need lots of power.

Next question will probably be "y0 d00ds, when will GaMEcUbE be emulated on the GBA?" from some random person somewhere.

Yeah that is a good question! When will I be able to play Smash Bros. Melee on my GBA? I'm sure I could mod my GBA a put the mini-DVD drive on it!

The probability to emulate snes game with full speed on GBA is 0.00001%
Its impossible, GBA didnt have enough power to emulate Snes.

yeah, that is impossible..
but what can be done, is writing ports from snes to gba in the same (or better) quality.

Not only is it impossible to do fullspeed, but it's impossible to do period. GBA lacks resolution, and more importantly, buttons. That NES emulator proved that people won't mind if you scale the games (and make the emulation look like a lowres crapfest... Megaman looks like he has down syndrome) but you can't fake buttons. At least I feel pity for whoever tries to make X be an exotic combination of what few buttons are there.

The only chance is a port being made, like the mario games.

I'm finally glad to see most of the popular SNES games (Zelda, Metroid, and some square games) are now being ported to the system with new updated features ...can't wait to play Zelda in 4-player mode

I think all of you are wrong, they said it couldnt be done but now I have all the Nes roms, on The GBA. People are hard at work on a snes emu for GBA. Its only a matter of time.

I believe the only way to play snes on GBA would be to port them to run on the GBA hardware. Then you'd just use a flash advance linker or something like it. I doubt it would be possible though.

Exclamation Acutally, there is a possiblity

The Action Replay has the AR button, which allows for a code to be implemented when pressed. Someone could develop a linker cart with the extra buttons and the main emulator. The emulator-cart hybrid would send the emulator core the button signals to be interpreted into game functions. Of course, this requires separate hardware which has to be fasioned by hand and extensive coding knowlege of the GBA platform. As such, it's not IMPOSSIBLE, but really, really, REALLY improbable. Another option is to make a linker cart without the buttons, but have it check the multiplayer port for, say, input from a SNES controller with a GBA link adapter? You could have the cart accept either GBA carts with the SNES rom on it, or instead of a bridge, use SD or MMC for holding roms. Less complicated than the previous suggestion, but a bit unusual. However, you'd and :cuss2: before you ever finished a project like this, .

lol

I remember hearing of a port of Snes9x to the gba, but a lot of GBA guru's thought it was crap. It might still be floting out there somewhere, but take caution, it could be a virus.

BTW, buttons were said to be faked but pressing L+A for X and L+B for Y,or what every you set it to. Oh yeah, there was said to be no sound.

I"m sure it could be done on the GP32, tho.
