Well since you didn't specify any language...
Magical Vacation Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis Breath of Fire II Shining Soul Those should keep you busy for awhile.

I never actually play BoF untill 3 but 3 is the coolest. However, I did know a guy that had both the BoFs for SNES, he never let me play them though ('cause he was a batard) I tried to play them recently but I couldn't get into it.... But I still LOVE  #3 I need to get that again, maybe after I find a copy of Grandia somwhere.

BoF2 is the only BoF game I could never get into, dunno why, but I could never unstand what was going on and it just didn't feel like Breath of Fire at all.

It was somewhat strange....I didn't get into it until about 10 hours into the game...then it gets real good...better than BoF3.
BoF4 was the one that didn't feel like a BoF...IT WAS way to serious...I still loved the game though...but capcom was smart by having it take place in an alternate dimension and not the regualr BoF universe... I.E. BOF1- then 2 sets 500 years later, 3 sets after 1 for sure [the opening mural displays the bof1 characters] but it most may set before bof2 [you do kill gary and mogu {main PLAYABLE characters in BoF1} in the beggining after all].

I have yet to try the PSX BoF's. I guess I should really try someday. I played through BoF 1, and I didn't really like it that much. It was good, but nothing really special. I liked BoF 2 because it had the auto battle feature, and you could build your village. I just loved that. And yes, the game starts out really slow, but gets addictive really fast.

BoF2 was my first rpg ever (i got the pal version as soon as it came out - more by accident than anything else...)
it still belongs to my favorites and I really think that it's one of those games where you really enjoy playing it, after having completed it once...
