I am running 2000 SP4, i had the same problem that you have described, i posted a solution on EmuTalk which Posty found success with and has repeated here, basically make the emulator run in fullscreen and all graphics will be displayed. Posty has written the detailed instructions so i won't duplicate them.

If you absolutely MUST run your games in a window, boot into FullScreen then press F10 (a cursor will appear) followed by F3, you should now be running in a window with properly displayed graphics.

Hopefully this should solve your problems and before anyone asks, I don't know why any of this happens, any information as to causes and solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Fox

[EDIT] Sorry Tanooki, i just reread your post where you quoted one of hedgehogs posts, i thought it was your message. What is the problem you are having?

it either say it's "not a win32 valid application" (like running a win 3.1 prog 16bit on win9x) or that "pagefile is too small" ?!wtf

when i drag image on either exe or shortcut, it say access to file is denied.. mhhz weird

using win2ksp4, 256ddr 266@200 CAS2, duron 1100mhz 200fsb, gf4mx440 @ agp4x

tnx for asking MGFox...

The "Pagefile Too Small" message is a problem with your Virtual Memory settings, so that can be solved by increasing the ammount of Virtual Memory you use. Check out cooliscool's post if you don't know how to do this.

As for the "not valid Win32 app" message, not sure, that would suggest it is a corrupt download, however the appearence of the Pagefile error contradicts it, this may have been a consequence of you trying different methods to get it working!?!...but don't quote me on that.

Good Luck

Cheers,
Fox

that would be that, if this was this simple...

i reduced and increase pagefile in everyway the prog could ask for, but nothing good enough for it :*/

for win32 thing, i downloaded the package few times, behind and without proxy, from ie6 and download manager
nothing helps...

well its hard to help when we're not there and we dont have the same PC.
I'm sorry if it works for everyone else but you....
seriously...its not like we have all the answers. have you tried contacting monk? maybe he knows why but id like to point out that he told me that problems like this are low priority for now..
