GC-Disc Question (Not How do i make iso or similar)

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is feasibly possible for a tool, and/or hacked firmware, to be able to read a gc disc onto your pc?

Or is there absouletly no way that PC drives will ever be able to read them?

Cheers

I know all about that, but i was just wondering if the pc hardware could actually read the disc and some sort of on-the-fly conversion tool could do it.

Or hacked pc-cd firmware?

Basically "Is it feasible for a tool to be able to decode GC discs"?

I know there is nothing available but if someone wrote one?

i guess if you hack a pc-DVD firmware, maybe you could get something but there is still an encryption...

no it dont.. It spins the regular way, its just stores the data as far out on the disc as possible, and this is only to increes the reading speed.

Just thought I'd throw out there that if you put a GC disk in you DVD drive and then open up Nero CD-DVD Speed it can read the size of the disk.
