Hi, I would like to know if there are any movie decoders that allow me to play dreamcast sfd format movies?

Nope there arent.The format isnt really known i dont think... the only way would be for you to buy a sega katana devkit off of sega and use the including sofdec libs to display the movies... of course sega wouldn't in a million yrs sell u a devkit so u r screwed. guess u just have to complete the relevant game ;p

wrong. the format is quite simple, and well known. it's basically MPEG-1 video with some aditional header info, and an ADX audio track.

as for wether there is a converter, yes there is one. SFD2MPG, and you can acquire it here:

not as user friendly as the current PSX video converters, but it'll get the job done.

true dat, but you might try using babel.altavista.com or something and translate the page... I use that sometimes for translating pages, and even though the translation causes grammatical errors, its not completly unreadable...

Can anyone tell me how to use it? a short Dos window opens and closes and nothing happens. How do I use it?
