"it couldn't even run that damn face demo thing"
hmm, maybe i should give up now then. that line alone just pisses me off. how many other dc emus are running such a broad range of SEGA Katana samples! The answer: none.
Anyhow look at the latest pics today and you'll see the latest improvements. Its people like you who put off a public release further and further. I just couldn't handle releasing cuz of all the crappy complains I'd get from idiots like yourself who don't have any concept of what it really takes to emulate these sort of demos.

Haha, No its prolly fake cuz it is so bloody obviously taken from a vidcap card! The debugger gives it away also as does the fact it says 'an exception has occurred' in the bottom right.
I genuinely did not expect anyone to actually fall for it...

So, vivi dude, how about YOU making an emulator.
You think itīs so easy ?
You need lots of knowledge and time (which many people donīt have), so donīt disencourage the few ones who actually try to write an emulator (even if it seems far from perfect at first).

It's crap coz it can't run a demo.
That is so lame! It is a WIP, and as such, it has made good progress IMO. You go CyRUS64!.

I think some of you may have missed the point.
I HAVE been working on a dc emu for quite some months now. It is the most advanced in existence. Far more advanced than dreamemu for example.
Where the hell did this crap about it not playing demos come from!
I have LOTS of Sega Katana demos running and homebrew games and emulators!
Check my site for genuine pics...
A while back I happened to be playing doa2 through my wintv card and i pressed the snapshot button.
For a joke I pasted that over a display of my emu.
It was soooooo clearly fake! I wasnt trying to trick anyone.
A friend suggested i put it up for april fools which i did. lots of sites fell for it, which i find very amusing...

My emu however is 100% genuine, it just doesnt play COMMERCIAL GAMES, but it does run COMMERCIAL SAMPLES FROM SEGA which have been made using the same development kit as almost all commercial games...

Get my point now? or am i gonna have to put with more strange responses!

First off, I never said anything about the emu being "lame" so don't put words in my mouth(Lord Kane)

The remark about "it couldn't even run that damn face demo thing" was in support of my comment about the pic being fake so (its prolly fake) don't take it the wrong way (cyrus).

I have never put down the efforts of any programmer and I never will. However, I hope that the mistakes made about my post here in this thread will not be repeated on these forums again.

Those who are not familiar with the english language, pick up the phone and dial 1800abcdefg for the phonics game. (it works)
If your own misunderstanding caused you to get pissed off, then go on. get pissed.

I live in England, man and I have an A at GCSE English. My unsderstanding is fine. You made a post that could, however, be misconstrued.
My apologies if it has, but you should be a little more careful with your language.
