Well,it will be out real soon here in France,but I'm not too sure about the US version of the chip(which just got completed,they just finished the solderind plans).

Hmm.... so you still have to open your PS2 to install the chip ? that would void the warranty .....
At least cd swapping is dead

The USB modchip just sticks on the outside and you just turn on the switch. Thats simple.

For god's sake, the USB solution (Neokey) is a Neo 2.2. That means it has jack for features, no dvd-r/silver, swap required, etc.

It /still/ requires soldering, albeit just one wire. It also requires the GS2/AR2 and patches for EA games.

If there were a truely 'simple' solution available you'd know about it.

Dont get disappointed, yet . According to Raizel , the Messiah modchip will have cd swapping dead . I sure hope its true ......
