A little flaw in the USB PS2 external MOD

Well from what I have read people dont seem to realise this MOD wont play DVD backups, this includes things like FFX, MGS2, Jack and Dex etc.........basicly all the good games.

No, it will not, because it is a Neo 2.2 in a box.

Neo 2.2's are quite old, and lack support for many things.

Heh I thought as much. ......... Any how some guy just told me in IRC that you can boot DVDR's with Action Replay/Game Shark....I said no thats just to boot normal CDR's.....has he basicly got it wrong and wasted his money or am I wrong?

you could in theory boot a dvdr with gs/arv2 with some disc swapping done
but you also have to open your ps2's casing which woiuld also void your warranty

External mod will never be as powerful as internal mod.
